This example requires the following table definition
CREATE TABLE t1 (c1 NUMBER);
EXPLAIN PLAN FOR SELECT COUNT(*) FROM t1;
The table does not need to be analysed
The statement
SELECT id, parent_id, operation, options, object_name
FROM v$sql_plan
WHERE (address, hash_value, child_number) IN
(
SELECT address, hash_value, child_number
FROM v$sql
WHERE sql_text LIKE 'EXPLAIN PLAN FOR SELECT COUNT(*) FROM t1'
)
ORDER BY id;
generates the following execution plan
0 DDL STATEMENT 1 0 SORT (AGGREGATE) 2 1 TABLE ACCESS (FULL) OF 'T1'
